Johnny Boys - always better than skiing the Killington slush

For the perfect antidote to a heavy night at the Pickle Barrel or Wobbly Barn or one of the many other bars down the Killington access road, head to Johnny Boys. This big boy’s breakfast place will soon have you believing that the weather was ‘just too warm/wet/cold/icy for skiing this morning’.

What’s it like inside? Big high ceilings, a long counter and plenty of tables of varying shapes and sizes, including that group of 12 a little worse for wear friends. The light, airy feel of the place is welcoming and refreshing.

What about the brunch menu? Anything and everything is great. All breakfast dishes you would expect are there, and big boards display the specials. The portions are hearty, and the pancakes are great, accompanied by good maple syrup.

How was the Bloody Mary? Amazingly, they have Bloody Mary on the menu, and its pretty good. Tabasco is on hand to spice it up a little more, to really jolt the tastebuds into life!

And the Service? Friendly, fast, efficient both at the counter or a table. There are plenty of servers on hand to cope with the mass of people enjoying their breakfasts.

Need to know more? There is typically a bit of a wait. The 10 minutes can seem like a lifetime on a rough morning, but its well worth it. And you have to admit, its probably still better than confronting a sore head with a double black diamond, or having your ski boots refitted at the Surefoot boot shop next door!
